Bring an old iPod with you on Sunday to donate!
Research on the brains of people with dementia has shown that, even when someone is no longer able to communicate verbally, he or she will still respond to favorite music, often dramatically. Music & Memory is a non-profit organization that brings personalized music into the lives of the elderly or infirm through digital music technology, vastly improving quality of life.By donating an old iPod, you can help those who have lost their music to reintegrate again. Bring them with you on Sunday to the Walk, and donate them at the Music & Memory table (across from the Kids’ Korner) or drop off at the Chapter’s office anytime. For more information, visit musicandmemory.org.
