There are rumors of Apple working on a bundle that would allow customers to subscribe to Apple Music, Apple TV+, and more services with a single subscription. 9 to 5 Mac reports that the bundle was discovered with the iOS 13.5.5 beta code.
A source for Bloomberg shared Apple was planning to bundle Apple News, Apple TV+, and Apple Music for a discounted price, in an effort to boost subscriber numbers for all of the services.
Currently, Apple users could purchase a Family Sharing subscription to Apple Music, News+, and TV+ that would add up to around $30 per month. The new Apple bundle is expected to include all of those offerings for less money.
The iOS 13.5.5 beta code mentions a “bundle offer” and “bundle subscription” related to Apple’s current lineup of subscription services.
If Apple does intend to launch its bundled services this year, the most likely place to hear about the move would be at WWDC 2020, which will be an all-digital event happening this month.
