Thousands of flights canceled over the Memorial Day holiday weekend

This holiday weekend there have been thousands of flight cancellations across the United States.

According to FlightAware, more than 1,500 flights were canceled on Saturday. So far, about 750 today.

A total of 18 at Newark Liberty Airport, over 30 at John F. Kennedy International Airport and 14 at LaGuardia Airport.

Philadelphia is doing the best with about seven flight cancellations.

Delta Air Lines has had most cancellations and says they are due to the bad weather and “air traffic control problems.”
