Netflix is said to be in early talks to enter the world of live sport.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the steamer is in early discussions to broadcast a celebrity golf tournament which would feature some of the stars of its Drive to Survive Formula 1 series.
The event is likely to take place in Las Vegas, probably around the time of the Grand Prix in November.
Netflix has long been rumored to be interested in moving into live events and sport.
Earlier this year it streamed a live gig by comedian Chris Rock. It has also gained the rights to stream the Screen Actors Guild Awards from 2024.
