Last month, I had the pleasure to attend Activision’s Games for Girls Summit in NYC. Now, this event featured the latest games for the Nintendo DS system. The event was catered for girls in the 4-10yr old age range. It also promoted the fact that girls are becoming more involved with video games and technology. The keynote speak was Suzanne Kantra – Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Techlicious.com. 
All attendees walked away with a gift bag which included:
- Squinkies 2
- Zhu Zhu Babies
- Wappy Dog
- Zoobles
- Mini and Standard Lalaloopsy
- Moshi Monster Magazine / Mash up Cards
The event took place during school hours and while I didn’t pull my little girl out of school – I did surprise her with the coolest tech toys. At that moment, I was once again – DAD of the YEAR. (Yes, it’s my everyday title too.)
