Amazon Prime Video will begin streaming Thursday Night Football games in 2022, a year ahead of schedule.
When this year’s NFL season begins, Thursday night games will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. The NFL will continue airing games on local broadcast stations in each team’s home market.
Amazon was one of several streaming services and networks to score rights in the new deal. It was originally set to begin in 2023, running through the 2033 season.
The deal included Amazon getting the NFL’s first ever all-digital package.
