Last week my son and I were so excited to attend at “Mike the Knight” event at the HIT Entertainment offices.
Upon entering the same offices that houses such kid royalty as “Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank ” and “Barney”.. my son was mesmerized.
For those of you who are not as familiar as my son… Mike the Knight is the new kids series on Nick Jr. Mike is an adorable little knight in training determined to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a brave and noble knight. Faced with challenges and obstacle, Mike is set on doing things the right way with his rally cry.. “Be a Knight, Do it Right!”. This cute series is about learning responsibility and doing things the right way. Of course there are many other characters in Mike’s medieval world for instance, dragons, castles, Vikings and trolls. My son is obsessed with Mike’s sister, Evie, who is actually a wizard in training!
Mike the Knight is a show with a perfect combination of comedy an adventure. Your little one will be on the edge of his/her seat watching to see how Mike meets his obstacles! One exciting way you can help this summer is by becoming a fan of Mike the Knight on Facebook. 1- On the first Monday of each month, log on to Mike the Knight Facebook with your little knight in training and receive your mission. 2- Review the mission with your little knight 3- Discuss and plan how you will complete the mission 4- After your mission has been accomplished, post a message photo or video to Mike the Knight Facebook page 5- On the last Wednesday of each month check the Mike the knight Facebook page for your special reward badge and attach it to the corresponding month on your Mission of the Month poster 6- Have Fun!!!!!!!!!! And remember….. “Be a Knight, do it Right!”
