As the proverbial clock continues to tick – what is the solution for addressing NY Knicks $100 MIL Power Forward Amar’e “STAT” Stoudemire?  The New York Knicks organization and Coach Mike Woodson could have a very sensitive situation on their hands in a few weeks.  The Knicks offense is clearly thriving in a “Carmelo Anthony” world as a revolutionary NO#4 / Power Forward.  Coach Woodson has been pretty tight lipped about his thoughts and plans on handling this situation – Does Amar’e start of come off the bench.

It’s very simple – Feb. 21st 2013 is the NBA Trade Deadline.  It’s time for Executive VP/ General Manager Glen Grunwald to work with his brain-trust and decide it’s best to showcase Amar’e in every fashion — starting or coming off the bench is now irrelevant.  The bloated contract, surgically repaired knees, the fire extinguisher incident and now finally on the receiving end of fan criticism.

Sit Amar’e down and inform him that he no longer part of the Knicks long term planning. The Knicks could possibly receive additional pieces / draft picks / compensation for Amar’e Stoudemire.  The Big question remains – who is desperate enough to take on this contract and temperamental all-star?

Stay Tuned – as suitors are bound to rear their heads as soon as Amar’e returns.
