Los Angeles, CA – March 11, 2013 – Kuyam.com, is an innovative new web platform that assists busy women with organizing their life with three simple clicks. The online marketplace serves the Los Angeles area and allows users to discover local lifestyle businesses and schedule multiple appointments in one place.
Kourosh Gohar, a Los Angeles local and on-the-go businessman, created the concept in 2011 when he was in desperate need of a haircut. After many failed attempts to get through to the salon he turned to their website, only to be instructed to call during business hours. Frustrated and disappointed, Gohar came to the conclusion there had to be an easier solution. He teamed up with co-founders Tony Rhoton and Todd Zebert, and Kuyam.com was born.
“We created Kuyam as a way to help keep your life organized,” Gohar said. “Scheduling appointments can be a hassle. Whether you’re a constantly on the go or a busy mom, we want to take away one of life’s common stressors. Everyone deserves an assistant.”
Meaning “a meeting place where we can come together” in the Chumash language, Kuyam offers services for everyone, such as spa treatments, health and fitness classes, tutoring for kids, gymnastics classes and more. Gohar is currently working to expand the companies offered on the site.
Appointment availability is shown in a user-friendly calendar, allowing you to book a time and day that fits best with your schedule. Users also have the ability to easily modify or cancel any appointments. Each appointment can be completed in just three clicks by selecting the time, a service and method of payment.
The service is free of charge for users while local businesses can receive free profiles and listings. Businesses registered are charged a small fee of 5% plus $0.99 per booked appointment through the site.
