Bullying Prevention Organization and Parent Monitoring Service Join to Educate Families About the
Realities of Bullying and Cyberbullying

Bullying prevention non-profit organization, Stand for the Silent, is pleased to announce its new partnership with TeenSafe, creator of the ultimate iPhone, Android and tablet monitoring software for parents. Through this partnership, Stand for the Silent and TeenSafe will work hand-in-hand to prevent and raise awareness around bullying among children and teens, an issue that is becoming larger and more prevalent every year.

Stand for the Silent is an organization using campaigns that offer education and tools to bring awareness to bullying and to help prevent it. The campaigns reach parents, teachers and children worldwide.

“My wife and I started Stand for the Silent in 2011 after our son tragically took his life as a result of bullying. Since then, our ultimate goal has been to educate children and parents all over the world about the reality and seriousness of bullying and cyberbullying,” said Kirk Smalley, founder of Stand for the Silent. “We feel blessed to work alongside such an incredible company who shares our passion in keeping children safe and aware of the realities of bullying in this world. This partnership will help us share our story with more families around the globe, teaching children of self-respect, confidence and love.”

Since the company’s inception in 2011, more than 850,000 parents have subscribed to TeenSafe, empowering moms and dads with the ability to securely access to their children’s mobile interactions via an online account. TeenSafe’s monitoring software enables parents to view their children’s:

  • Social media channels (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Incoming, outgoing and deleted text messages
  • Other messaging apps:(Kik, WhatsApp)
  • Web browsing history
  • Contacts
  • Call logs
  • Location

“Each month, there are 282,000 students in secondary schools who are bullied and tormented online. This inevitably results in depression and can even tragically lead to suicide. We are honored to begin working with Stand for the Silent, one of the most prominent anti-bullying campaigns worldwide, to help prevent the tragic things that can happen to children as a result of bullying,” said Rawdon Messenger, CEO of TeenSafe. “A child is a parent’s most treasured gift and we are passionate about our shared goal in preventing the effects of bullying and cyberbullying. We strongly believe that together we can expand our reach in educating parents, teachers and children.”

As a partner, TeenSafe will also make a donation for every new TeenSafe subscription to help fund Stand for the Silent’s world-wide education campaign on the effects of bullying.
