Laser tag can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. Yet, if you’re looking to get an edge over your competition, it helps to have good accuracy. While games are all about having fun, everyone likes to win now and then, too!

1. Get the Best Vantage Point

Playing tag in the dark is so fun because having the lights out is both an advantage and a challenge. When you’re seeking out opposing team members, you can hide while also positioning yourself strategically to get the best vantage point. This will give you an uninterrupted line of sight. Just be careful to avoid being spotted by your enemy!

2. Use Hand/Eye Coordination

You’ve heard coaches tell you to keep your eye on the ball during sports practices. The same applies to your opponents’ target. Always keep your eye on your target, and make sure your eye is focused on the center of your view finder. Some players find it helpful to close one eye to ensure perfect aim. For safety reasons, players don’t run during the game, which also helps teams achieve clear shots.

3. Steady Yourself

Playing an exciting game can create a healthy surge in adrenaline. All of the energy you’re experiencing could make it difficult to hold your laser gun steady, however. Secure your grip by taking a deep breath while you aim. Pull the trigger on the exhale, but don’t wait too long! Your target could be on the move within the blink of an eye.
