Jim Trotter joins The Athletic

Jim Trotter has landed a new gig after his contract with NFL Network was not renewed.

Trotter is set to join The Athletic in May as a national columnist and will report to Deputy Managing Editor Jorge Rojas. He’ll continue to cover the NFL, as well as other sports, per a press release.

Prior to this announcement, Trotter had been with NFL Network for the last five years. 

Even though Jim will miss his colleagues at NFL Media, he’ll get to meet some new ones at The Athletic and bring coverage that fans can count on.
