Last month I attended the Children’s Place “Garden Party”.  I was able to cruise around the store and view the latest spring trends for children and toddlers.  I’d be lying if I said this was my first visit…. I happen to live above the store! However, with things occasionally being “too convenient” in NYC… I realized I had not stopped in for awhile.

I loved the bright colors all around the store.  Of course the walls of sparkly shoes for girls really brightened things up!  In fact, sparkles were not just on shoes but on everything for girls.  Sunglasses, tanks, headbands, etc etc!  The boys were a bit more subdued but fun and bright non the less.  I noticed a big trend with the skull and crossbones theme.  They were on belts, ties, T’s, etc!  So cute!  There was also an abundance on my favorite look and what Children’s Place is great at providing for boys.. which is the “dress up look”.  Sports jackets, ties, bow ties and hats.

Don’t think I left empty handed….. I stocked up on shorts, shirts, button up’s and accessories for my 3 yr old.  He was not as excited as I when we played fashion show later in the day but it was so much fun!  I should also mention the staff is great and if you don’t see your size, they will happily check the stock room for you!  The only downside of The Children’s Place is the daunting line at the registers.  Because so many people are shopping at all times, the lines can be quite long.  They do, however, move fast and you can get out in no time!

Be sure to stop in The Children’s Place if you haven’t been in lately.  You can’t beat the prices and current trends.  My son will be dressed to a T in his new Children’s Place clothes 🙂
