Amazon is now giving Prime Video subscribers the option to set up multiple profiles under one account. Beginning Tuesday, July 7 – Amazon rolled out profiles to subscribers in the US and other countries, allowing users to add up to five profiles in addition to the account owner’s profile.

Prime subscribers have been asking for the feature, which is already standard on Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services, for some time.

Each profile will have its own unique recommendations based on that person’s activity, a separate watchlist, and will keep track of series progress.

Amazon Prime Video Kids profiles can also be set up, with parental controls to restrict what a user can watch. Prime Video Kids profiles will only show content with ratings for kids 12 and under, including search results and recommendations.

At launch, the feature will be available for Android and iOS versions of the Prime Video app, as well as on the web and Fire tablets, and PlayStation 4.
